The plot involves a crew of gangsters who are intent upon assassinating the President of the United States, whose train is scheduled to pass through a small town. These gangsters take over a family home atop a hill overlooking the railway station.
Besides Sinatra, the cast also features Sterling Hayden, James Gleason, Nancy Gates, Willis Bouchey, Kim Charney and Chrisopher Dark. The film was written by Richard Sale, produced by Robert Bassler, and directed by Lewis Allen.
