Kinograms and Fox News Silent Newsreel Collection

We’re adding to the newsreels available here at iMovieCinema with this collection of Kinograms and Fox newsreels from the silent film era.

Several newsreels series started up during the silent era. Charles Pathe started the first silent newsreel in Europe in 1911. Kinograms appeared on the scene in 1919, and ended in 1931. According to the History of the Newsreel, Fox was the first American-produced newsreel to be associated with a news wire service (United Press)
