X Marks the Spot - 1942

Here’s another classic wartime mystery, the 1942 movie, X Marks the Spot. There are some cliffhanger-like moments in this Republic Pictures film, too.

Damian O’Flynn portrays private detective Eddie Delaney, who pursues the villains who killed his police sergeant father (portrayed by Robert Homans). Also in the cast are Helen Parrish, Dick Purcell, Jack LaRue, Neil Hamilton, Ann Jeffreys, Dick Wessel, and Esther Muir.

X Marks the Spot was directed and produced by George Sherman.
